AIS Inspections
We are able to undertake pre registration inspections for Tasmanian registrations for cars, bikes, trailers and trucks up to 4.5gvm.

Air Conditioning
TMM can provide full automotive air-conditioning servicing for all vehicles, including de-gas and re-gas, pipe repairs and replacement parts for your AC system. We recommend you service your air-conditioning system every 18 - 24 months (approx every fourth mechanical service).

Performance Services
TMM specialise in the preparation of race cars and performance vehicles. We can do turbo installations, engine conversions and full car builds.
We have an onsite fabricator who builds custom roll cages and fabrication of turbo manifolds, sheet metal work and intercooler pipe work.

Martin Croall
Martin completed his apprenticeship at Motors Holden in 2006. He then went on to become leading hand of a team of seven mechanics, servicing Holden, HSV, Renault & Saab vehicles, before leaving to join his father Alan at TMM in 2007.
Martin specialises in electronics and modification of ECU components, including installation of Nistune components into Nissan ECU's.
Martin has been building race engines since 2007. Martin built and maintains the Kumho Nissan 180sx driven by Tim Plumridge for four consecutive seasons of the Tasmanian Drift Series, in which Tim is currently placing 2nd.
Martin himself has been competing in local and national drift competition since 2007. You can follow his progress at or via our face book page.

Lloyd Smith
Lloyd is TMM's #1 apprentice. Lloyd has been tinkering with cars since the age of 13, completing the build of his first drift car at the age of 14 and 9 months. Lloyd has been a competitor in local and national drift competition since 2008. At the tender age of 18, Lloyd joined the TMM team to embark on his formal mechanical education. Lloyd enjoys learning about electronics and fabrication. Lloyd is somewhat famous in certain Motorsport circles, with a huge list of achievements already under his belt including finishing 2nd in the 2011 Tasmanian Drift Series, and receiving the Hobart Sporting Car Club Young Clubman of the Year Award also last year.
